1. WHAT ARE THE ADAS EXCELLENCE AWARDS?

The ADAS Excellence Awards 2026 are designed to recognise organisations demonstrating meaningful achievements in automotive safety, ADAS, intelligent mobility and India-specific automotive engineering.

The awards focus on:

  • Engineering excellence
  • Innovation
  • Safety impact
  • Real-world deployment
  • Localisation
  • Cost and scalability
  • Contribution to the Indian mobility ecosystem

The awards recognise the quality and impact of a specific achievement, rather than simply the size or reputation of a company.

3. WHO CAN NOMINATE?

The awards have two dedicated tracks:

OEM / Vehicle Manufacturers

and

Tier-1 / Technology Companies

The nomination form will automatically show the relevant award categories and questions based on the organisation type selected.

4. HOW DOES THE NOMINATION PROCESS WORK?

Step 1 — Select Organisation Type
Choose OEM or Tier-1 / Technology Company.

Step 2 — Select Award Category
Select the category most relevant to your achievement.

Step 3 — Review the Questions
Review the nomination questions before beginning.

Step 4 — Complete the Nomination
Present a clear, evidence-based case.

Step 5 — Provide Supporting Evidence
Provide non-confidential and verifiable evidence wherever possible.

Step 6 — Submit Online
Submit the nomination and receive a nomination acknowledgement/reference number.

5. WHAT SHOULD WE NOMINATE?

Companies should nominate a specific technology, product, vehicle capability, engineering achievement or programme.

The awards are not intended for a general submission covering numerous unrelated ADAS features.

The focus should be on:

Problem → Engineering / Innovation → Evidence → Impact

6. WHAT MAKES A STRONG NOMINATION?

A strong nomination should demonstrate:

  • What real-world safety problem was identified?
  • What engineering challenge was solved?
  • What was innovative about the solution?
  • What India-specific adaptation was required?
  • What measurable improvement was achieved?
  • Has the technology been validated or deployed?
  • How scalable is the solution?
  • What contribution has it made to the Indian mobility ecosystem?

The number of ADAS features does not determine the strength of a nomination.

The focus is on the meaningful engineering, safety or mobility impact created by the nominated achievement.

7. HOW WILL THE JURY EVALUATE THE NOMINATIONS?

Every nomination is evaluated using a 100-point framework:

Evaluation Criterion Points
Technology / Engineering Excellence 25
Innovation & Differentiation 20
Real-world Deployment / Demonstration 15
Scalability & Automotive Industry Impac 10
Contribution to Indian Mobility Ecosystem 10
Total 100

The Jury evaluates the quality, evidence and impact of the nomination rather than the reputation or size of the organisation.

8. WHO IS ON THE INDUSTRY JURY?

The awards are evaluated by an independent Industry Jury comprising senior professionals and experts from the automotive, ADAS, safety, engineering, research and technology ecosystem.
